Phone Armband

I’m really looking for a good phone armband to use so that i can strap my handphone while exercising. Don’t want the phone keep on daggling in my pocket up and down when I’m running… :p

Hoping to find the following… look so cool…

 

like the one inside the video…. but in Malaysia, seems like its difficult to find these and also expensive… the most i can find is

 

This one is for iphone one and it’s starting price bid is rm 35! though i think it should be able to fit my phone but…

 

seems rather ugly…. :p

Nokia Sports Tracker

When for jogging this morning and found out a cool application from my Nokia phone – Nokia Sports Tracker!

This program basically tracks your work out whether you go for running or cycling, it tracks where you went, how fast were you and how many paces! it even tracks how much calories you have lost! Cool!

It’s a great way to track your exercises!

My ideal phone

I’m not very greedy, but my ideal phone would be as follows

• Candybar type. preferably just the size of K800i maximum
• Unlimited entries for phone book and sms (shared memory)
• Interface – like sony ericssons are the best
• at least 5 Megapixel camera with xenon flash. CCD type of camera to reduce noise.
• LED light, for using the handphone as torch light. the LED better be situated at the top. Will not be using it for video recording.
• 3x optical zoom, with face recognition.
• Secondary camera, just VGA is enough for video conferencing
• Smart finder (like sony ericsson’s feature)
• handsfree connect from bottom. side makes it difficult for me to control
• blogging feature and upload only via cable to computer to internet (blogspot)
• Camera is with active sliding cover (pop up camera taking when open)(instantly!)
• QWERTY keyboard hidden underneath the phone, slide open when used.
• WIFI not really necessary, hardly use phone to connect to internet as the screen is just too small
• GPS with A-GPS support, and able to install Garmin-XT.
• The two buttons in K800i for quick picture viewing is NECESSARY
• scratch proof glass
• Accelerometer for autorotate feature. And picture taking autorotate.
• M2 card at least supportable to 16G, and M2 card is easily accesible from just outside the handphone. (that means no need to open battery cover to take the M2 card)
• Push2talk with dedicated button for push2talk
• dedicated button to play song.
• good tactile feedback on all the buttons.
• no joystick
• touchscreen is optional. but if got touchscreen, features must be like iphone.
• Calendar is like sony ericsson, just increase the “notes” feature to unlimited characters.
• Able to set shortcut directly to java application.
• FM radio with RDS support. able to record and have track id support.
• dedicated call and end button
• dedicated internal processor – fast enough to handle everything without lag.
• fullscreen picture caller

So far still can’t find a phone with these features… hehehe

Last day teaching in Khe Beng

It really has been teaching at this school! Yesterday I even have the privilege to bring the students for Daerah level story telling competition!

The most left one is one my story telling contestant! The other two are her best friends. Also storytelling contestants but at school level. They also have great talents.

As we left in car, I start to realize that they really enjoy talking so much. Well standard 6, I guess all of us are also like that at that age right? hahaha

We reached to Hin Hua and went to the main hall where the competition was held. I was very nervous the whole time cause this is my first time bringing them to the competition.

Although she didn’t win the top positions, but I think she really did very well in the competition. Well the judges are the ones that made the decisions right? I think she really did put a lot of effort and I really appreciate it. After that I treated them McDonalds and they were really happy about it!

Today teaching at school were just as normal as any other days. I guess I’ll be missing a lot teaching the kids. 2 months, just 2 months, I still remember most of their names of the pupils the classes I taught. Some of them so adorable! some of them so naughty! But it’s really satisfying when I get to involved in their lifes, to teach them the right values to remember.

The Bilik Guru is the only pictures I manage to take today. Hahaha I can’t be taking the photos of the pupils. Later they’ll realize it’s my last day. hahaha

I’m going to miss them so much! :P

So probably a lot of people will be asking me, will I be joining the profession of teaching?

Well maybe :D

Final few weeks in the school…

I have been teaching in this school for the past one month. The experience is really amazing! Hahaha all the ups and downs, facing the pupils, some very naughty, some very “kuai”, I really start to like them a lot already. Apart from the holidays and working just “half day”, it’s really very satisfying. 

 

I gave them some work over for Art class during the merdeka week celebration and these are some of the pictures I manage to take to keep for memories ….

1st Day teaching at SRJK© Khe Beng

My first day teaching at SRJK© Khe Beng. I started of with being replacement teacher for other classes. When I enter the class, started la… “Ti yi!, Lao shi zao an!”, Then they sit, after awhile, start to get noisy already, some of them non-stop talking behind, I need to shout at them! :~

After recess period, I start to take over English class for standard 4 to 6 because the teacher start to take maternity leave. My goodness, the table was full of books not yet mark. I need to do planning as well for teaching of what in classes for all the 6 classes i’m teaching (2 class for each standard).

After recess period, I’m already in one of the class, supposedly to teach English. It was 6J, one of the notorious classes. My o my, they’re just so noisy. I can’t stop shouting for one second. Just then i realized, it’s so much easier teaching in tuition! at least the students come prepared to learn. Over here, most of the students don’t want to study! they just want to sleep and do other stuff, anything but study!

2nd day, and it’s still not yet change for me. I still have the “unfamiliar” feeling with all the things on the table. Planning Record book, the books that need to mark, student’s exercise books, and rotan! but the teacher’s table are really full of even a lot of other stuff which I can’t manage to clear it off. The students have so much of exercise to do, that means more exercise for the teachers to mark! Before I go back, I was even told i need to mark the exam papers because it’s trial papers exam for standard 6 students! I took the paper back to mark… :(

3 Days I teach already, need to get a hand of it. Still so many to learn and so many to get hang of it, besides just teaching and also the records. Though there’s so many naughty students, some of the students are just really cute! Especially the standard 4 students, seems they’re very scared of me, cause maybe I’m a male teacher.
